People Helping People of Savannah is made up of a bunch of folks who love Jesus and have a heart to feed the hungry and stand beside the hurting. We meet in Forsyth Park every Sunday at 12:45 across from Brighter Day...Rain or Shine!

We are a group of self-organizing volunteers! There is a core group of volunteers who show up every week to make sure things go smoothly. Other groups come out & regularly support us but we love individuals too! We'd love to see you on a Sunday around 12:30 or so at the Tennis Courts at the South end of Forsyth Park (Park Ave & Bull St). Get in touch with us if you'd like your group to come & serve some Sunday in Forsyth Park with this Ministry!

We usually serve the meal after a message around 1pm. There's lots of opportunity to serve with preparing part of the meal beforehand, serving it, helping at the bread ministry table, the clothes ministry or the hygiene table. We'll be happy to put you on the mailing list - just stop by & see us this Sunday or whenever you can to find out more!

It is no secret that I have a very deep and personal relationship with God. I have pushed and resisted that relationship this past year through all the bullshit I have had to go through living with Herpes but once again, God is bigger than my stubbornness and broke through that outbreak cold sore and all I had Genital Herpes. For me personally, hearing over and over how I am not good enough has really invaded my mind in the worst way possible. I completely shut down and I was just waking up like is this how life going to end this temporary herpes outbreak “fuck everybody with herpes if you know what I mean” but let's be honest here...It is a cowardly to say no to herbal medicine. It is fear based. And it is dishonest to what my heart wants.
